Greenwald on Sanders

This clip starts with Sanders post-election statement, which reiterates his campaign messaging. Messaging, by the way, that Trump also used and catapulted him to the Presidency. Then Greenwald discusses how because of the above Sanders would have been the far better candidate to run against Trump with a far better chance of beating him. He noted that Sanders rhetoric sympathized with the average Trump voter instead of accusing them of all the denigrating adjectives typically ascribed to them. He related to those voters, felt their pain and offered solutions to ameliorate the causative conditions. Sanders was also strong on some of the issues Trump championed, like being against free trade agreements and penalizing Wall Street for their crimes.
