Legal opinion on the TPP

See this article wherein a group of legal experts wrote a letter to Congressional leaders on the legal grounds of the Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) portion of the TPP. It undermines democracy and equal rights to legal representation in that it creates an entirely separate legal system available only to foreign investors freed from the domestic legal system. There is no appeal to the ISDSk tribunals rulings, and it is governed by the very lawyers who represent the member multinational corporations, a humongous legal conflict of interest. This tribunal is not only not bound by legal precedent but by any law whatsoever. Yeah, that would work. For the corporations only, that is.
