Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. My idiosyncratic and confluent bricolage of progressive politics, the collaborative commons, next generation cognitive neuroscience, American pragmatism, de/reconstruction, dynamic systems, embodied realism, postmetaphysics, psychodynamics, aesthetics. Raw food enzyme myth
There's a belief going around that plant enzymes aid in human digestion. But it has zero basis in scientific fact. All the scientific articles I looked at agree that plant enzymes have nothing to do with human digestion. Most of the diet faddist articles disagree but they're not based on this evidence. I'd provide a list of scientific sources to back this claim but people are going to believe what they want to anyway. Check the research yourself. But like plant enzymes and digestion, we all know that scientific fact often has no effect on strong belief systems. E.g., look who is in the Blight House.
