Johnstone berates whining liberals

Caitlin gives some tough love and sage advice for those who think Bernie and Chomsky are traitors to the cause.

"If you’re experiencing emotional suffering over Bernie Sanders or Tulsi Gabbard for endorsing Biden, or Chomsky for endorsing lesser-evil voting, you really have nobody to blame but yourself. You wouldn’t have to knock these people off the pedestals you put them on if you hadn’t put them there in the first place. [...] You’ve got no business abdicating your rightful authority over what’s true to Bernie Sanders, to Noam Chomsky, or to me. Your responsibility to know the truth about reality is yours and yours alone. [...] Don’t abdicate your authority to anyone else and no one will ever let you down for using the authority you gave them incorrectly."

I'd add that now Bernie and Chomsky are facing the truth and giving it to us straight. That's what trust in my authority tells me. And if we want to retain any measure of personal authority and its free expression then face up to the fact that 4 more years of Dump could very well eliminate that right we hold so dearly. But hey, don't trust me; trust your own authority and take responsibility for it.
