Some Twamp supporters really are stupid

I know, it's not politically correct but it is true. And no, not all Twamp supporters are idiots. But we have to face it when it is demonstrated time and again that some are not just stupid but apparently mentally ill to boot. How else can we account for when they are outright lied to and betrayed but they cannot accept the obvious fact that Twamp is harming them with his policies. They seem to have Stockholm or batter spouse syndrome.
