The fictional Secretary of State on the TV show Madam Secretary gave a scathing diatribe against fake news last night. And I'm talking about the real fake news that doesn't base stories on facts but seeks to bolster an ideology with lies and manipulation. Which they then turn around and accuse the real news of being fake because it reveals their deception. It is a direct attack on Dump and his tactics, and nice to see it addressed in prime time drama.
