Obama on why he's getting involved

We're in a crisis of democracy: It is increasingly being destroyed. It's urgent that he and we get involved to turn this around before it's too late. And that especially applies to this mid-term election. It is that serious and we need to turn out in record numbers this November. We must act now in resounding numbers.
