Trump and the return of the repressed

In this Ning IPS post DavidM58 analyzes Trump from a Gebserian perspective. He sees Trump as a regression to the magical structure, hence the lack of reason or facts in Trump. Such a regression leads to the deficient magical structure. It is also relevant to this Ning IPS thread, in that the return of repressed prior structures is a "double movement," akin to the fold. The mental structure, when faced with this, has two options: 1) regress to the previous level and its deficient phase or 2) integrate it into a healthy integral-aperspectival awareness.
