So why is my blog so simplistic?

Continuing the last post, given the nuance of the flexible independent, then why do I present so many posts in easy to digest black and white terms? Because winning elections is more important than singing to an elite choir who will vote my way anyway. Yes, most people who identify with a Party see things in black and white terms. And they tend to dislike and distrusts elites, be that in Congress which they see as rigged against them, or in universities which they see at those trying to control them. If you want to reach the majority of voters you need to speak and present in terms that they understand, to use simple, emotional memes and phrases that motivate them. This is about winning elections to enact policies that help those very people, not about self gratification in showing how nuanced and flexible we are, or how high we measure on some developmental scale.
