Bonhoeffer on the stupid

See Bonheoffer's bio. I agree that it's a waste of time to convince the stupid. Yeah, it's not PC to admit that some people are stupid, that we should care about them as people anyway. Those two things are not a contradiction. We can admit their stupidity and still fight for their rights and benefits, which is what the progressive agenda does. But that acknowledgement also frees us up to focus on those with some intelligence who can be swayed to enact policies that help everyone, including and especially the stupid. Those policies like better education, fair wages and benefits will help them rise out of their condition to one day be well-informed citizens.
