Warren used the hearing on Carson's nomination for Director of HUD to make a point: Since we don't know about Twamp's financial interests, Carson could not assert that any HUD money (meaning taxpayer money) would not go to profiting Twamp. So Warren is selling her bill to require Twamp to put his holdings in a blind trust, which per yesterday's press conference he will most certainly not.
