Underwhelming Russian hacking report

Following up on this post, see this Intercept article. It is right that the smoking gun evidence is not revealed. But as I said earlier, it was in fact revealed to the intelligence committee, and both sides found it compelling. And even if Congress appoints an independent committee to investigate it, again the results will be classified and we won't get the details. So will the doubters believe the declassified, public report that will be just as general in scope? I'm guessing not.
