Democracy Index 2018

Speaking of how we define democracy, this index explains those factors that constitute it. Note that the US keeps slipping down the scale, in 25th place and categorized as a flawed democracy. Given developments in 2019 I am certain we will slip even further. Also note which countries top the list and what form of social contracts they implement.
