Dump and Repugs redefine reality in their fascist image

Continuing this post, we see the issue of reality playing out in our political arena. This interview with the former CIA Director examines how Dump and his Dumpsters are now openly admitting that Dump has done what our laws have determined are illegal and legitimately defined as treason. And yet they are spinning the facts of the case into a narrative that it is instead not soliciting a foreign government to interfere in our election but merely asking them to investigate corruption in their own government.

Our society has created laws based on social agreements as to what is and is not acceptable conduct in order to maintain a democracy. And now Dump and the Repugs are challenging that social contract, instead arguing that a fascist leader, supported by an oligarchic class, are to decide what is best for them, not society as a whole. The latter is a mere appendage to their power and greed so we should shut up, get over it and accept our abused slave state of existence.

Sorry, we won't settle for that. We will defend those agreed-upon tenets expressed in legitimate laws that constitute democracy, and fight the fascist and oligarchic agenda to destroy what this country was founded upon.
