Racist, bigoted, xenophobic Republican base

I disagree with this article: It is not a deterioration of the regressive base that Trump manipulates. It's always been that way and Trump just exposes it for what it is, as well as how the GOP establishment has always manipulated it too. The latter just used code language, while Trump just lays it bare. He really does represent the Party as a whole and should be their candidate.
