Vekselberg was that oligarch who is closely allied with the Kremlin. His US affiliate also made donations to Dump inaugural and campaign funds. Attorney Avenatti provided additional details that Vekselberg paid $500,000 to Cohen after the election. Vekselberg's cousin, Intrater, donated generously to Dump. Mueller is investigating.
