Investing in our future

That's what a paid education is: An investment that brings returns several fold. It's just that those returns benefit our entire society, not just the 1%. Hence their problem with it. But for we the people, and for our planet, it is a necessary investment that we are willing to make. That is, as long as everyone pays their fair share of tax dollars for that investment.
