Narcisstocracy? Jerkigarchy?

See this Krugman piece. We Americans are taught to worship the wealthy because they represent the American dream, that of hard work paying off. But the reality is that the super wealthy are typically nothing like the average hard working American. They tend toward sociopathy and losing touch with the rest of us, that is, if they ever were in touch to begin with. And they also tend toward propagating a system whereby they, and only they, benefit and the rest of us can scramble for not enough crumbs to go around. Yeah, that's something to be admired....
