China cancels 103 coal plants

Following up on this post, China is cancelling 103 coal plants that have been planned or are already under construction. As noted in the last post, even though China is rapidly transitioning to renewable energy they still had a vigorous coal agenda. So for those of you who always point to that contradiction as evidence that China is not sincere about the transition, what say you now about this development?
