Reich on the fascist reporter database

From his FB post:

"This is something straight out of an authoritarian regime. The Trump administration has created a secret database of journalists and other media figures who cover immigration and the border, according to a new report. In some cases, officials even flagged their passports, creating delays and inspections when they entered the United States. The Department of Homeland Security has also begun creating a national database of reporters.

Folks, surveillance and harassment of the media is straight from the demagogue's playbook. Instead of protecting the freedom of the press, Trump and his enablers are monitoring and vilifying reporters. We must not let this stand. We are better than this."
