Dump stole progressive agenda to win

Continuing this post, a large part of Dump's win was because he promoted progressive populist issues. During the campaign he favored ending loopholes for the rich, eliminating trade deals that stole American jobs and created inhumane sweat shops, universal healthcare and the individual mandate, spending on infrastructure to create jobs etc. Granted he was and is a liar but supporting these issues works. And he was still at it from his State of the Union speech, talking about: 

"Paid parental leave; Price controls on prescription drugs; Tougher trade agreements to protect American businesses and workers -- especially union workers; New investment in vocational education and job training; Prison reform to 'help former inmates who have served their time get a second chance at life'; New drug-treatment programs to address the opiate epidemic, the worst drug crisis in U.S. history; And a path to citizenship for 1.8 million Dreamers." 

Again, those of us with any bullshit detector know he's lying. But these are the very issues that win elections so progressives need to strongly run on them while at the same show how Dump has been lying to and betraying people that want these things and believed him.
