He starts with a message to Tromp: Build bridges, not walls. He then proceeds to what has been, and can be, accomplished when we stay true to our progressive values and fight for them. In so doing, we bring back young people to the process who were heretofore disillusioned and gave up. And we need their skills, exuberance and intelligence to transform our society. He touches on much more in the video below. Very inspiring speech, and we need such strong, dedicated spokespeople to keep our passions blazing to create a better world.
PS: And music can be a powerful mover of political change. This is also a call for songs to be written that address our political situation and motivate us to do better.
