Republicans launch pro-Biden Super PAC

True, they said they'd never do this "if Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren were the Democratic nominee." Meaning I guess that they find Biden to be more in tune with their conservative agenda, a common refrain from progressives. But in supporting Biden over Twitler it also plainly demonstrates that Twitler is a much worse choice for any Party.

It's weird that Republicans can see that stark comparison yet some progressives cannot. But it's the choice we got if we want to defeat Twitler and avoid full-blown fascism. Biden's Administration will be no where near the fascist regime we've been seeing. True, it will be a mix of some quasi-liberal social policy and some conservative fiscal policy. But fascism it will not be.

Plus progressives are seeing some wins in primaries and have a good chance to win the general election. The more progressives we have in the House and Senate the more likely that we can pressure Biden to bend at least somewhat toward our agenda. You must certainly know that another four years of Twitler will not only not give an inch in our direction but be diametrically opposed on all counts.

Fighting fascism sometimes requires strange bedfellows. When it's closing time on democracy beggars can't be choosers.

From the article:

"A group of prominent Republican operatives that includes former officials from the Trump and George W. Bush administrations are launching a super PAC to turn out GOP voters for Joe Biden in November. [...]  The 'Right Side PAC' aims to identify former Trump supporters across the country who have cooled to the president's approach in office and convince them to vote for Biden [...] The PAC will initially target voters in the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, North Carolina and Florida. [...] The group sees itself as a complement to The Lincoln Project.
