Thing is, crime is Dump's lane.
Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. My idiosyncratic and confluent bricolage of progressive politics, the collaborative commons, next generation cognitive neuroscience, American pragmatism, de/reconstruction, dynamic systems, embodied realism, postmetaphysics, psychodynamics, aesthetics. It ain't much but it's not nothing.

Colbert: Dump facing 17 investigations
First up, the Senate Committee report on Russian interference. Dump is the greatest in having the most investigations into him than any other President ever. Something to be proud of I guess. And the defense? Crimes aren't crimes! It's another version of Giuliani's "truth isn't truth."
Carpool karaoke with Cardi B
I'm not a Cardi B fan but I really like this series, and how Corden sings and interacts with the guests. When they perform for a senior center aerobics class it's hilarious.
Majority of voters agree with progressive agenda
See this piece which shows polling that even some Dumpsters are on board with the agenda. It's the agenda that created the blue wave in the mid-terms so all Dems need to wake the f___ up and get with the program. Will the corporate Dems? To be determined.
Dump shuts down his charity under investigation
The NY Attorney has been investigating it due to using the charity for personal profit and benefit. The lawsuit alleges "persistent illegal conduct." Dump agreed to close down the charity and have its remaining funds dispersed to real charities. The investigation continues into the Dump Crime Family.

Comey rails about Repugnantans
After he came out of their latest witch hunt interrogation. What they should be focusing on is Dump lying about the FBI and undermining the rule of law. Repugs used to stand up for those values but no longer. Comey however strongly stands up for these values.
Tegmark and Damasio
In reading Tegmark's Life 3.0 I’m still hesitant about this sort of AI model. Granted it likely won’t be like human consciousness but will AI ever achieve consciousness without some form of information/body interaction? Chapter 2 constantly reiterates that information is independent of a physical substrate, but qualify that a substrate is necessary for it. And they grant that advances in the tech substrate has indeed advanced the capacities for processing and storing information. So the substrate is not irrelevant. While the information might be the same despite the substrate indicates that there is a lot more than just information to consciousness. The substrate just might matter when it comes to the latter.
In that light I recommend this research topic at Frontiers in Science: Consciousness in humanoid robots. All the articles were published this year. I’m particularly interested in “SEIL: Social emotional artificial intelligence based on Damasio’s theory of mind.” The other articles are also relevant to the topic.
I’m also reminded of what Damasio said in this recent video discussing his latest book, The Strange Order of Things. While Tegmark does cite Damasio in the book, I don’t yet see how he incorporates his insights of emotions and feelings as necessary to consciousness into an AI version. Damasio:
“There are people that are totally convinced that that minds are nothing but computer programs. that minds, or even whole organisms, are captured by algorithms. Some say we are actually nothing but algorithms. […] The people that say that obviously have no idea what a mind is, given the result that a mind is the interaction of a brain and the body” (4:45).

Repugnantan Party hates democracy
From this piece. If you hate democracy then join them. If you want democracy then this is a fight for our very lives.
"Taking away democratic rights—extreme gerrymandering; blocking an elected president from nominating a Supreme Court justice; selectively paring voting rolls and polling places; creating spurious anti-fraud commissions; misusing the census to undercount the opposition; calling lame-duck legislative sessions to pass laws against the will of the voters—is the Republican Party’s main political strategy, and will be for years to come."

The consequences of hiring unqualified people
Dump is unqualified, as is just about every other person he's inducted into his crime family. Idiots think that's a good thing, but they obviously are qualified to discern what's best for our country either. Btw, crashing the plane below is a metaphor for how Dump is crashing our democracy, but idiots don't understand metaphors either.
