So much for holacracy eh?

See this article. Holacracy isn't working at Zappos largely due to its top-down imposition of an abstract system that reduces and controls human emotional input because of its dominant computer operating system metaphor. (Also reminiscent of the integral operating system.) Many Zappos employees are having trouble with it, and when that becomes a 'problem' they are fired or quit. Nearly 1/3 of their workforce did so since 2015. It reminds me a lot of my lengthy discussion of real and false reason, as well as Zak Stein's criticism of the computer metaphor and promotion of an ecological one.
