Twamp the traitor

Twamp praised Putin for not retaliating against US sanctions due to their hacking of our election after Putin said that's because Twamp would 'restore' US-Russian relations. Of course he will, in that Twamp will be a Russian lapdog as proven by his many statements, including this one, that shows he is already one. Some of the Twitter responses to Twamp's Tweet accused him of treason, and reasonably so, given that according to 18 U.S. Code § 2381:

“Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

But rest assured conservatives: The GOP, while railing against treason in other cases far less convincing, will not touch this more legitimate charge against Twamp because they know, as does Russia, that Twamp will sell out to the highest bidder. The GOP has big plans for Twamp, as does Russia. And those plans do not include the American people, but they most certainly do include treason by legal definition.
