See his article here on the 7 things the Party needs to do to be effective. If it can't do this than a viable 3rd Party needs to garner the disenfranchised progressive demographic. His suggestions:
1. The Party needs drastic reform from its current path.
2. They must support the Sanders wing progressive populist values and agenda.
3. They must address rampant income inequality.
4. They must reject big money interests.
5. They must not only fight Twampler but promote a progressive vision akin to Sanders.
6. They must welcome the young to its ranks, not only listening to them but giving them leadership positions.
7. They must quit with courting big money; Sanders proved the money will come with the correct values and agenda.
If they can't do all those things than move over and become defunct. And quite honestly, I don't think the Dem Party can implement that agenda. Even if the Party gets new blood they'll just marginalize them like they did with Sanders to further enrich themselves at our expense.
