Republicans vote to let mentally disabled buy guns

Not, this is not fake news but actual reality. There used to be a law to prevent those on mental disability insurance from buying guns. And the Republicans that tend toward guns for everyone have also tended to say those who are mentally disabled should be able to get a gun. No more. They just removed that restriction from those on social security disability, thereby removing the last vestige of an excuse from their obvious support of the gun lobby over public safety.
