Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. My idiosyncratic and confluent bricolage of progressive politics, the collaborative commons, next generation cognitive neuroscience, American pragmatism, de/reconstruction, dynamic systems, embodied realism, postmetaphysics, psychodynamics, aesthetics. It ain't much but it's not nothing.

Solar and wind could replace fossil fuels within 2 decades
They could if governments had the balls to make it so. Solar and wind power are rapidly growing cheaper and more efficient, and the transition to them would avoid catastrophic climate change. And it is beyond doubt that fossil fuels contribute to that catastrophe. Plus more future jobs can be created with renewable energy, since right now they already do. Storage of renewable energy has been solved and can also be done easily and effectively, so no excuse there. Hence there is one and only one reason not to create new, well-paying jobs and save our environment: Greedy oil bastards, and their bought legislators, that only care about their own wealth.
