Because even his own lawyers know he's a liar and Mueller will catch him in several lies. So will The Biggest Coward in History accept a Mueller interview despite his lawyers' wishes? Will his ego overcome good common sense? We dare you to face Mueller Mr. Dump. You're so smart you can pull one over on the special counsel, right?
We can hope that if Dump declines that Mueller will instead subpoena him to appear before a grand jury where Dump cannot have a lawyer present. Dump will surely just ignore the subpoena and cause yet another Constitutional crisis because, after all, he is not only above the law but the law. And unfortunately with the installation of Gorsuch on the Supreme Corp they will likely agree.
