Republicans vote to exploit workers
Oh yes they did. They voted to overturn a former Obama executive order that required Federal contractors to disclose violations of labor law like minimum wage, overtime, and health and safety. Depending on the severity of the violations federal contracts could be denied. Such contractors could provide mitigating evidence and steps taken to redress those violations. But no, requiring fair labor practices and for worker health and safety in order to get public money is just a bridge too far for the Republicans.
