The US has become more progressive

538 has tracked 32 issues, from marijuana legalization to marriage equality to abortion, much of which has been enacted via legislation. Not all of the issues moved toward the progressive side though. Still, overall the movement is convincing. So how in the hell can Democrats lose elections? Oh yeah, most of them are not progressive like the country they represent.
