Following up on this post about Hartmann, Clinton and Sanders, Hartmann
said in his introductory remarks that Hillary is not as progressive as
Bernie, and he favors some of Bernie's policies over Hillary's. But his
other point is one we should take to heart: while Hillary is no Bernie,
and if she wins the Democratic nomination, she is a hell of a lot better
than any Republican on most of the issues. So while we all fight for
Bernie to get the nomination, if we fail we better be prepared to
support Hillary. If any of the Republican field wins we are in for a far
worse hell than we have now.
PS:
Hartmann has featured Sanders weekly every Friday (Brunch with Bernie)
for about 10 years. I am though waiting to see if he'll endorse him over
Hillary.
