Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. My idiosyncratic and confluent bricolage of progressive politics, the collaborative commons, next generation cognitive neuroscience, American pragmatism, de/reconstruction, dynamic systems, embodied realism, postmetaphysics, psychodynamics, aesthetics. The populist and the fascist
See this Salon article by Paul Rosenberg. Both Trump and Sanders are labeled populists, but they are a different kind of populist. Trump's type is based in imaginary fears of dark-skinned others couched in nationalistic fascism, as well as delusional fantasies like voter fraud and birtherism. Sanders' type is based in science and fact on climate change and empirically-based policies like social security and Medicare. Trump appeals to our lesser drives like fear and hate while Sanders to our better angels of love and compassion.
