Twamp's budget: Make American cruel again

He'll add $54 billion to defense spending and cut social and environmental programs by that same amount. He also plans to spend a shitload on The Wall and deporting immigrants. The programs slashed and burned include aid to the poor by eliminating the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. It also cuts programs related to worker training and safety. Community development and affordable housing programs will be cut by $35 million. PBS would be eliminated. $403 million to train health professionals will be eliminated.


"In addition to massively reducing the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency (by 31.5 percent), outright eliminating the NASA satellite program, implementing a $900 million cut to the Department of Energy’s Office of Science, ending the Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing Program, and slashing $250 million in grants from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, it would also slash funds for the National Institutes of Health by $6 billion."

And the above is just the tip of the iceberg that will be melted down and sold for weapons.
