This whole wall thing, and the fear he generates over a nonexistent problem, is primarily to incite his base into a frenzy. Then when House Dems won't give him his wall he can claim victim status and blame it all on them saying he tried. And the media is being complicit in the whole spectacle for ratings and will not report on the underlying dynamics of this farce, let alone any reporting on the innumerable crimes he is committing. They are being played, know it and don't care.
