Sanders, Warren, AOC revive democratic ideals

Yes, democracy. You know, that of, for and by the people thing. This article shows that what they're proposing has a long American history going back to Jefferson and Debs. The underlying tension has always been: Is capitalism consonant with or antithetical to democracy? And the answer has proven time and again to be the latter.
