Progressive Dems challenge the centrists

Continuing the last post, the progressives at the California Democratic Party convention came out loud and strong for their agenda and attacked the centrists. Sanders repeatedly criticized the middle ground approach, especially the false notion that today's Repug Party can be compromised with.

Sanders: "We cannot go back to the old ways. We have to go forward with a new and progressive agenda."

Warren: "Some say that if we just calm down, the Republicans will come to their senses. But our country is in a crisis. The time for small ideas is over."
