Sanders speech on defeating oligarchy and authoritarianism

Despair is not an option. We must act now with a better vision of compassion, justice and love, that is, democratic socialism (27:45). That's the kind of socialism that benefits everyone and why the oligarchs attack it. Yet those same oligarchs love corporate socialism, all the subsidies, tax breaks and bail outs that the government hands out to them. Different socialism, different distribution.

We've been here before and defeated those destructive forces under FDR and we must do it again, this time expanding on the New Deal. And as Sanders points out, it takes all of us to get involved to make it happen. Well done Mr. President. #NotMeUs
