Repugnantans are always bitching about all the money we spend on welfare and food stamps. Reich explains that it is only about 6% of our discretionary spending. Social security, Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare are mandatory spending, not part of discretionary spending.

Repugs won't cut military spending but are going after the social programs from both types of spending to make way for more tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.
