Note that George is married to Kellyanne Conway, the latter who lies frequently to defend Dump. He was also a lifelong Republican until Dump corrupted the Party. Hence his comments are all the more pertinent, as he's also talking about his wife and his former Party.

He said that this impeachment is about defending our country from high crimes and misdemeanors. And the Repugs have completely abandoned any sense of duty to country in trying to spin away from the factual evidence of real crimes with pathetic defenses for a Presidunce who has violated every principle of which they used to profess. He, like most of us, is appalled at what his former Party has become.
