1. Lie: The rich are job creators so we can't tax them.
Truth: The middle class and the poor are the real job creators through their purchases of goods and services. If they're not paid enough to make the purchases then companies will not create more jobs.
2. Lie: People are paid what they're worth in the market.
Truth: Worker wages are stagnant compared to increased productivity. Their low pay is a direct result of those at the top vastly increasing their own pay and intentionally keeping their workers enslaved.
3. Lie: Everyone can succeed by mere will and hard work.
Truth: The poor and working class schools are degenerating and their teachers abused. There are little to no investments in childcare and early childhood education. Hence there is no real equal opportunity.
4. Lie: Increasing the minimum wage will reduce jobs.
Truth: Increasing the minimum wage gives working people more money to buy goods and services, hence spurring the economy and job growth.
