Butt's defense of big money

In the NH debate, after being called at by Sanders for taking billionaire money, Butt offered the defense that we need everyone's money in order to defeat Dump. But the facts are that Sanders, who takes none of that money, is way ahead of Butt in fundraising so that destroys Butt's fake argument. But Butt fake argument goes further: Billionaires are people too and we need to be inclusive. Actually, we don't and should not include them when the fact is that their money is what is causing the corruption of our government which caters to them instead of to the rest of us. It is an Orwellian rationalization that is easily seen through and reveals just who Butt represents:

"It’s grotesque, though unsurprising given the source, to hear the language of inclusion and belonging leveraged in defense of America’s billionaires and their right to flood the democratic process with campaign contributions. No one who isn’t willfully deluding themselves can seriously believe the nation’s richest people [...] give so much money to politicians out of civic nobility."

Butt is not "willfully deluding himself" but he is willfully trying to delude his supporters into believing he is something he is not. We're not buying it Butt.
