Bottom line: It's all about Twitler and not at all about children's (or
any human's) lives. Please vote out this genocidal maniac. He said:
"After railing against the CDC’s guidelines for reopening schools as
“very tough [and] expensive” this week, Trump has successfully pressured
yet another agency into falling in line
with his agenda. The CDC issued new guidelines yesterday that echo
Trump’s demands for schools to fully reopen for in-person learning, some
of which were written by White House officials instead of CDC experts.
Meanwhile, Senate Republicans are helping Trump with his dangerous
demands by tying billions of dollars in federal aid to schools reopening
for in-person learning.
"Let’s get one thing straight: Every parent, student, and teacher wants
to go back to in-person learning — but only if no one’s life is put at
risk. Trump’s determination to reopen schools no matter the risks is
just like his push to reopen the economy: He’s desperate to get the
country back to normal so he can boost his shot at reelection. From the
very beginning, his only concern in handling this crisis has been to
make himself look good and boost his political prospects — and it’s cost
over 140,000 Americans their lives. His utter disregard for the health
and safety of his constituents never fails to shock me."
