Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. Expand, not cut, social security
See this from Senator Sanders. Instead of cutting these benefits for our elderly, most of which barely if at all get by on their earned benefit, we should be increasing them. And to pay for the increase we should make those with higher income pay their fair share into the system instead of scamming it under the current laws. The regressives want to cut it to be able to give more tax breaks to the rich, who don't need it and are already not paying their fair share of income taxes. Let's get active on this issue and lobby our representatives to increase social security and increase social security and other taxes on the rich to pay their fair share.
