The GOP's Frankenstein monster

See this article. While a few Republicans denounce Trump's latest call to prevent all Muslims from entering the US, they are the ones that created Trump's popularity. Their decades old southern strategy was to use code-words to incite prejudice. Now they play on the fear and anxiety of most middle class people who are suffering from job loss and/or lower wages.

The GOP created this situation with their draconian policies of crashing the economy and  moving jobs overseas, but they can't admit it so shift the blame to others like immigrants for taking the jobs. They've long played on these lies and fears and Trump's popularity is proof positive that the monster they created, like Frankenstein, has now come back to bite them. They get what they deserve when Trump takes down their whole Party, as it deserves to go extinct.
