Hedges: Global capitalism has destroyed democracy

Yes, destroyed. Hence even the corporate Dems would rather vote for Dump than Warren or Sanders because maintaining their power and privilege is far more important that what our country was founded on. There is overwhelming urgency of we the people promoting Sanders and Warren, getting one of them in the general election, and other progressives like them for all the other offices. This really is a life and death situation over democracy versus capitalism, as people are suffering terribly and dying at the hands of this defunct economic system.
