The Fed asks Wall Street for advice on hiring?

Jesus H. Fucking Christ. What the hell is wrong with the Federal Reserve when it asks the wolves to pick a guard for the hen house? Do they really think we the people are stupid enough not to see right through that? Or that they think we are powerless to do anything about it? Fight these bastards people. From this article:

"Financial industry lobbyists are among those being asked to suggest who should replace Sandra Braunstein, the retiring Federal Reserve official who oversaw the regulator’s lackluster efforts to protect consumers in the years preceding the U.S. mortgage meltdown. Braunstein [...] led the Fed’s consumer affairs division since April 2004."

Do you suppose Wall Street is going to advise someone who is going to be tough on consumer protection? Look what they did to Elizabeth Warren. Ironic that she came back to win a Senate seat and is leading the charge against them on the banking committee. We can fight these scumbags and win folks.
