Given that agricultural practices contribute to the climate crisis, this group of farmers and ranchers support the Green New Deal, as it will address how they can help alleviate some of that crisis. Plus I guess they are getting tired of the raw deal Dump has been giving them, so they want solutions that keep them in work.

the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as major contributors to
climate change. And climate-friendly strategies like sequestering carbon
in the soil and expanding the use of regenerative farming practices
require buy-in from farming communities."
