Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. Klein on Dem candidates' climate policy
Continuing this post, Klein is asked about the Dem candidates' views about the Green New Deal. She thinks Biden is out of the picture, since he doesn't support it and wants that dreaded "incremental reform." It comes down to Sanders and Warren, who both support it. Warren wants to have the US lead the world with "economic patriotism," producing and selling renewable energy infrastructure. Klein thinks it's more like "economic imperialism." Instead the US needs to take responsibility as the leading greenhouse gas polluter and empower other nations with financing to get involved in creating their own green manufacturing. Sanders is the only candidate supporting such financing.
